First Time Here?

What to Expect!

Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating. So, to calm your fears, we thought we'd let you know what you can expect.

At Canyon Lake Community Church, we offer three distinct worship services, each with its own environment and style. The common denominator is that regardless of the style of service, you can expect that it will be centered around the Word of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the entire family.

We offer Sunday school for children of all ages up to middle school. High schoolers worship with the adults, though we encourage families to worship together with children of all ages. Below, you can find a brief description of each worship gathering and the service time.

We invite you to join us each week as we meet to honor Jesus for who He is and to celebrate all that He has done for us!

Out of respect for our attenders and members of our community, we are following the CDC guidelines as well as state and county health orders as it pertains to the coronavirus outbreak.

CURRENTLY that means that we are hosting a single, outdoor service at 8:00 am each Sunday morning. We ask that masks are worn and attendees practice social distancing with those outside of their immediate household. Seating is limited so reservations are necessary.

We look forward to a return to our multi-generation worship services as soon as possible:

  • CLASSIC WORSHIP - 8:00 A.M. A combination of hymns and classic worship choruses often led by the Celebration Choir and Orchestra, with solid biblical teaching and a welcoming atmosphere.

  • ENGAGE WORSHIP - 9:30 A.M. A vibrant worship experience that includes a mix of current, contemporary worship songs incorporating driving guitars, drums and vocalists. You will find relevant biblical teaching and an inviting atmosphere.

  •  TRADITIONAL WORSHIP - 11:00 A.M. If you long for the simplicity of church like you remember it - Hymns sung to piano or organ accompaniment and clear, sound preaching from the Bible are what you will find here each week.
