Staff and Leadership

Teamwork is a very important part of all we do at Canyon Lake Community Church. And we definitely see that lived out among our staff. Our teamwork is demonstrated by our shared values: our love for the Lord, each other and for those in our community; our passion for the Gospel; and our desire to see men, women, boys and girls become fully-engaged disciples of Christ.

  • Dave Dick

    Lead Pastor

Pastor Dave joined the staff of Canyon Lake Community Church in 2009. He and his wife Mollee have two girls and have lived in our community for the past 25 years. Dave is the Lead Teaching Pastor for both Sunday morning worship services.

  • Responding to God's call to Canyon Lake Community Church, Bryan and his wife Amy moved their family into the area in 2005. His infectious enthusiasm for the Lord is evident as Bryan oversees and leads worship for the Sunday services at CLCC. He also serves as part of the Executive Leadership team where his administrative skills are put to good use. Aside from worship music, Bryan's varied interests in drama, videography, and graphic arts keep him very busy.

  • Derek Singer

Derek has been following God’s call on his life to ministry since 2012. Since then he has served the church in several capacities, including children’s ministry, student ministry, and working with young adults. He also holds a bachelor degree in Biblical Studies from Eternity Bible College, as well as a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. Derek’s heart is for the family, and his desire is to equip families with the Word of God so they can faithfully navigate the world that we live in. • Brittany Youngquist

Director of preschool and early family ministry

As a part of Canyon Lake Community Church's overall vision for the future, plans were developed in 2008 to begin a preschool ministry that would serve as an outreach to the local communities. Brittany was thrilled by the possibility of teaching at her home church. Canyon Lake Community Church Preschool opened its doors to students in the fall of 2010 with Brittany on staff as a full-time preschool teacher. In 2011, Brittany accepted the position of assistant preschool director and as of the summer of 2013, she answered God's call to the position of preschool director. Brittany is passionate about Jesus and education, so serving in the preschool ministry is a dream as she is able walk alongside children as they grow academically and spiritually. Brittany lives in Canyon Lake with her husband Ricky and her daughters Aspyn and Andie.

She loves seeing Christ through the children’s eyes and recognizes the importance of scripture in their lives. Liz and her husband live in Lake Elsinore with their four children.
