Does my child need to be potty trained?

No! We do not require that your child is potty trained in order to attend.

How old does my child need to be in order to attend?

Your child must be 2 years and 8 months old by the first day of our school year (8/6/18).

Do you provide meals for students?

We provide nutritious morning and afternoon snacks for our children. All children bring a lunch from home to enjoy alongside their preschool friends.

What is the student to teacher ratio?

This varies based on each individual classroom. The state of CA requires a 1:12 ratio, but our goal is to operate above and beyond that standard. In our youngest class, the Green Room, our ratio is 1:5 (2 teachers with 10 children). In our middle class, the Purple Room, our ratio is 1:8.5 (2 teachers with 17 children). In our oldest class, the Blue Room, our ratio is 1:11 (2 teachers with 22 children).

Do you offer a sibling discount?

Yes! We offer a 10% sibling discount.

Does the preschool program operate year-round?

Yes! We are open year-round. We do observe federal and school holidays, which are all listed in our parent handbook. We have a two week closure for Christmas and New Year’s and a week-long closure at the beginning and end of our summer program. There is no tuition due for our week-long closures.

Does CLCC Preschool offer any special activities for my child?

Yes! In addition to our interactive curriculum which includes science experiments, cooking projects, nature walks, creative arts and more, we offer some other fun! Children have the opportunity to participate in our Christmas program in December and our Graduation at the end of the year! Our little ones love our theme days! We have tons of fun with the following special days: Patriotic day, Team spirit day, Teddy bear picnic, Grandparents day, Crazy Hair day, Thanksgiving Feast, Visit from the Fire Department, Christmas Pajama Day, Crazy sock day, Visit from the Police K9 unit, Disney day, Hot dogs with dads, Superhero day, Open House, Easter Egg hunt, Muffins with moms, Mustache Day, Star Wars day and our school luau!
